FAQs
At 3D Crane, we often receive questions about the crane services we provide across Abilene, Brownwood, Sweetwater, San Angelo, Wichita Falls, Midland, Weatherford, TX, and all surrounding areas (and beyond). Below are answers to frequently asked questions to help you make the best crane service decisions.
What type of crane do I need?
Here at 3D Crane, crane size is determined by three main factors: Load Weight, Load Distance, and Load Elevation. Every project site is unique, and we recommend contacting us so we can evaluate your project. Our experienced team can help identify additional factors that may influence the crane selection for your job.
What areas do you serve?
We primarily serve West Central Texas, west to Odessa and from Wichita Falls south to San Angelo. If you’re outside this area, reach out—we may still be able to assist!
What specifications do you need to provide a quote?
To provide an accurate quote, we’ll need the project location, project duration, heaviest load to be lifted, and the farthest pick distance (distance from the lift site to where the load will be placed).
Are you insured?
Yes, we’re fully insured. Partnering with a licensed and insured crane service like 3D Crane ensures that your project is protected and handled professionally.
How long does a quote take?
Crane costs vary by equipment type, size, and time on site. Contact us as soon as possible to discuss your project scope, and we’ll provide reliable, accurate pricing promptly.
Do you offer on-site consultations?
Yes, we prefer to meet clients on-site to review the project scope, confirm the address, and assess any unique obstacles. Familiarity with the site helps our operators arrive fully informed and ready to perform lifts as safely as possible.
How can I set up a site visit?
Simply give us a call or send us an email to arrange a site visit.
How long is pricing valid?
We strive to honor all pricing provided within 3D Crane’s Terms & Conditions. Please reach out promptly if there are any changes in project scope or timeline to keep your pricing up to date.
